Company

Combat Training Solutions, Inc. (CTS) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a HUBZone-certified company that designs, manufactures and integrates the most sophisticated Non-Pyrotechnic Battlefield Effects Simulators (BES) and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Simulators available today.

CTS was one of the first companies to successfully harness the special effects used in the sport of paintball and adapt the technology to realistic military and law enforcement training.  Our innovative non-pyrotechnic systems enable Direct Contact Training (DCT), offering a live training experience that is more realistic and better prepares Warfighters for in-theater encounters with roadside vehicle-borne and booby-trap IEDs.

History

In 2005, the U.S. Department of Defense and Joint Forces Command ordered a wartime acquisition of CTS products, incorporating them into Convoy Training Centers around the world. Since that time, CTS has dominated the non-pyrotechnic simulator market and has successfully met the new and re-supply demand generated by its ongoing success.

Today, all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, homeland security, Federal as well as state government, and foreign allies in the U.K., Europe, Australia and South East Asia are using CTS products to perform combat urban training to better prepare Warfighters for evolving terrorist threats.  The advances CTS had made in non-pyrotechnic technology have literally changed the way Warfighters are being trained to detect, deter, and react to IEDs – currently the leading cause of injury and death in Iraq.

Mission

To help save Warfighter lives by delivering high quality, low cost Battlefield Effects Simulators and Training Solutions to military, law enforcement and security agencies around the world.

Innovation

The CTS commitment to research and development ensures that customers receive the latest technology tailored to meet their training needs. For example, CTS was the first company to introduce a Long Range Wireless Detonator, a current and near future state-of-the-art Radio Frequency Receiver and Transmitter that can be integrated with real-world triggers to detonate Battlefield Effects Simulators (BES) from up to 1,000 meters line-of-sight.

As issues like homeland security and urban combat increase in importance, CTS is poised for tremendous growth. The company serves U.S. and international customers from its headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with a 6,000 sq. ft. HUBZone-certified manufacturing facility in Eastanollee, Georgia and a sales office in Orlando, Florida.
